Overall Interpretation

Our most important category is OVERALL INTERPRETATION. This category focuses on how well a movie, show, source material or property has been adapted for a themed experience. As all properties can be interpreted in different ways, we focus on how creatively our other categories have been incorporated. A higher ranking will be awarded for rides/experiences that that make you feel as though you have jumped into the movies! The more immersive, the better!

Theming

THEMING can create a particular setting or ambience to a venue or activity. This can be achieved through a verity of techniques like props, models, rides, signage, food, smells, and actors. This is the category that relates the most to OVERALL INTERPRETATION. It is the themed elements that really help create an immersive and tactile spaces.

Thrills

Although not all great attractions need to be thrilling, we like to still measure THRILLS. It can be an important metric to see how intense an attraction is, especially for the little ones.

Fun

I don’t think FUN needs an explanation! If we had a positive experience that made us happy, it’s going to rank high!

Nostalgia

There are some attractions that we have a sentimental attachment too, that’s where NOSTALGIA comes in. We’re all biased when it comes to our favourite rides, especially if we loved them as a kid. So this metric is used to bring back some childhood fun!
